When I take off, I take off at 50% throttleĪnd I notice that once it gets tracking, the tail comes up and it almost seems like it will nose over? WTH? On both take off and on landing, I notice this:
Maybe something I just need to get used to. The only thing I am asking for your assistance on is on this observation: I had a great day today and it flew it 4 times, each flight 8 minutes. When I took the airplane off, it required for me to add up trim ( so now it is no longer in down trim) SO, this 3rd day of flying (over the past 3 months, LOL), early this morning, I added downthrust to the motor. However, when I would fly it to make approach for landing, it would act a little bit strange on turns, almost like it was bobbling, never snapped on me.īut it was not smooth, and when it landed, the elevators still had "down-trim" relative to being "neutral".
The first time I flew it, I noticed it was nose heavy, so I moved the batteries back.īut when I flew it on the 2nd day, I noticed the airplane had a tendency to climbs even though the inverted flight at 45 degrees, the model would still arc towards the earth. (as an aside, I have been flying IMAC for over 6 years, and I have over 1500 logged flights, flying 40% sized aerobatic airplanes with 4 cylinder engines that in total weigh about 44 pounds) and have 120" wingspan) I have now flown this airplane on three separate occasions and I have made multiple adjustments: My question is regarding the take off and the landing? It is a fiberglass fuselage with built up wings and electric retracts. I am flying a trainer P-51 airplane, it has a DA 120 cc motor with a two blade prop.
